- He is pro gun
- He has a trans roommate, who by some accounts he was romantically involved with
- He is allegedly bisexual
- The carvings on his bullets are memes and video game references, not a political manifesto
In short, the guy likely has a mixture of conservative and liberal views.
The final point is the part that’s still being debated I think. The memes are definitely groyper memes, and this article seems to confirm that he was a big player of Helldivers 2, which groypers like to use as a sort-of digital Nazi bar.
The big thing is just that he’s definitely not a leftist, which is of course a huge sigh of relief, but there’s still the very real chance that this was an act of far-right on far-right violence.

The apparent apolitical nature of the alleged shooter would be very inconvenient for the administration if they cared about the truth at all. Unfortunately, they just put out some bullshit, their base eats it up, and now they’re foaming at the mouth to go after anyone to the left of Rush Limbaugh. Real fun times we’re living in.
