  • Like Twitter and Mastodon, it’s a micro-blogging platform. You could use it like I do which is just to read specific subjects. If you want to use it in more of a social way, then I couldn’t advise you on that since I don’t use it in that way.

    However, it may just take time getting used to how it’s laid out as opposed to a link aggregator such as Beehaw.





  • I understand. Different strokes for different folks. I mainly use it to read about things I’m interested in like scientific fields such as space exploration.

    I’d suggest using Bluesky in ways that most people wouldn’t think about.

    For example, you could use it to keep up to date about local events in your geographic area. Another example would be to follow a very unique subject such as macrophotography.
