Step up your parenting game: Study metallurgy.

Let it rip
Peak parenting
Its dad:

Fuck yeah. You can tell that dad was both proud of his kid crushing other beyblades and also proud of his own engineering skills.
As a kid, my friends also realized this. We started using glue guns to glue more weight disks on our beyblades. It turned into an arms race lmao. It didn’t get super crazy since people didnt own that many beyblades but I do remember i had a beyblade with 3 weight disks.
No kid, you got banned for cheating!
The duality of man -
Wholesome: dad gets involved with his kid’s hobby and helps him win
Not wholesome: kid shows up to play with a rigged beyblade someone else made for him, in order to participate in a one-sided competition, predictably breaking the other kid’s toy
Lol nice. I wonder if he used tungsten carbide blanks. Probably densest cheap metal if lead isn’t an option. Would need diamond cutting discs/bits to fit it tho.
Edit: probably for the best that I didn’t become a parent lol
I watched a video where some crafters used tungsten powder mixed in an epoxy for a really great effect. Get that heavy and metallic look of tungsten but easy to cast like epoxy.
happy cake day!
for the best I didn’t become a parent
What? Why? You sound like you’d solve all yo7r hypothetical kid’s problems!
Haha exactly! That would’ve been my mistake. Helping them trounce other kids would’ve felt natural, much easier than helping them become a better person.
I don’t see the problem here. Your kid would be winning!
Well yeah, and winning’s great if it’s theirs. Sorry I’m bad at explaining. It was my first attempt.
I meant that, given my disposition (competitive bitch, often lucky, won more than my share) I would’ve fought the kid’s battles too often, compounded my winnings into theirs, and failed to let them learn to fight for themselves, for others. I’d have created the privileged rivals of my youth instead of helping other’s children succeed. I think.
E: they’d be no more than primary school age today, so maybe I’d have grown up enough in time to fix my mistakes. Just seems like a gamble when a child deserves better.
‘Better’ as if any kid born today is going go get old!
As kid I know only those made of wood

Its funny. I had never heard of Beyblades before last year. A kid/young man came it with his improved beyblades designs he had done in tinkercad. I helped him with how to 3d print them. Somewhere he still competes with them. He is twenty or so.
I need to find this man
Beyblade X is so good again
Now bring back Pogs.
Alf pogs?
When I was a kid, my parent found some cheap china beyblade kit box, it came with random stuff to make beyblade. One of the stuff was kinda heavy metal core and it had 4 small plastic bits sticking out, and they CUTS. I fucked up couple of my other beyblades before I notice the damages.
and here’s Bringus with another suggestion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2onc721XBs
I read it in his voice… I hate it. I enjoy merry but man his voice gets to me.
