I think it’s about where you want to put your time in for a career. Not sure how professors are doing right now, but with the department of education budget being slashed, many are seeing the writing on the wall for the future of education here in America.

Highlighting that they are a country that still values inclusive education, and emphasizing their tenure stuff, shows that their country wants and needs you, and intends to value you long term, vs America trying to show the opposite.

And leap year?

I think it’s just trying to be helpful. You realize you woke up from the matrix and want to help unlock others. But not everyone wants to be disconnected from the matrix.

I will try. This comes up frequently these days with my Trumper friend, so this could be valuable to discuss here.

I think it would be fine for them to compete provided we can ensure a level playing field. I don’t know what that would entail, but studies should be done to get it figured out. Is it a blood draw for testosterone levels (maybe not… sometimes that’s naturally high for either cis gender)? Maybe estrogen? Maybe it’s number of years post transition, though I see difficulty defining the start.

Definitely a tough issue since if we get it wrong and be too accepting or not accepting enough, many athletes will suffer. I would love to hear some more ideas and thoughts on this. I’m tired of getting shot down trying to talk to this guy.

Headlines says Amish, so a phone should not be accepted. I stayed with a Mennonite before and she said Amish are no technology, then I think there was Old Order, which accepted technology up to like the Model T cars but nothing further, then Mennonites, which were essentially the same “group” (religion?) but the most advanced technologically, accepting all technology.

To give some context, if I remember correctly, Tuvix wasn’t just “clearly against the split”. He was desperately trying to save his own life, crying out “doesn’t anyone see that this is wrong??”, before they essentially killed him.

You’re good on the age. Everyone is different. My wife was more mature than me at that age and was also around six years younger than me. Best decision ever for me to ask her out and eventually marry her. Been together 15 years now and just had our first child and couldn’t be happier.
