I hate Trump as much as the next guy. He’s a walking, talking, piece of shit with a million reasons to be disliked. I don’t advocate peaceful protest, I advocate for outright violence against them. I want people to start fucking slugging right wingers in the streets like gangs used to do Nazis. However, there is nothing fucking wrong with a peacoat and scarf in the winter months.
I am happy to see 40K finally get the Total War treatment, but fuck man, no way is my PC gonna run that and I am not in a position to be getting a new one. Future goals I guess.
Monster Hunter: Wilds is on sale right now on the Playstation store. 30% off. I’ve been a fan of the series since the first, back on PS2, and have bought many titles in the franchise. While I pretty much couldn’t care less about the story (which mainline MH has never been known for, anyways,) in every other sense, the game has been delivering for me. It’s been a really depressing few weeks. I bought the game last Sunday and it’s been one of the few things that has gotten me to smile.
Huh. I had previously joked about UAE buying up Ubi, but it’s Tencent. Huh. Bet they’ll put out a bigger China themed AC than whatever that China episode is on the market (haven’t played it, know nothing about it, never got into AC.)
I have zero interest in any of Ubi’s IPs but I’m kinda curious how this’ll go.

I played long after most of the bugs were fixed, just a bit before 2.0 and Phantom Liberty came out (I’ve yet to get it, but, eventually it will happen.) On PS5 so everything ran pretty well. I loved the game a lot, and generally speaking, I have little to complain about. I would have liked more side quests and for the ones that exist to be more fleshed out than some background via texts. And I’m saying that after having gone around and completing every odd job/side quest/gig.
But my only real gripe is after having played through the story a couple times, it becomes really tedious to get through enough of the story to open up all of Night City again when starting up a new play through. I wish there were a way to accelerate that so I can just drop in and play with a new game and a new playstyle without having to sit through all the long dialogues and car chit chats.
Ethically, it may be questionable, personally, IDGAF.

I attribute it like the line, “Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, that they didn’t stop to think if they should.” Just because someome is brainy and knows a lot of specialized facts doesn’t mean they’ll always make wise decisions.
When your party doesn’t have a Cleric, but you don’t want to be a religious fruitcake to support your party, so you just roll up a Circle of the Shepherd druid and get the side bonus of being able to talk to all the beasts, all the time, no need to fw spell slots. And then take Message as a cantrip because you rolled High Elf lineage. Become the single greatest reconnaissance member your party has ever seen.

I am out of play by many, many years, but man, people threw a big fit back when we got Phyrexian poison counters saying they were OP as fuck. I am not nerd enough to know where it stands relative to the games entire span of cards, but that was definitely a thing. I recognize that’s not a format, but I mostly just played the standard 60 card format. I wound up leaving the game just as commander decks started (fun format tho, but I was done by then.)
