I feel like at the very least, if season 4 never happens, I’m assuming that some time in the 2030s any leftover material will get turned into novels and/or comics.
I already enjoyed the lone Orville novel, Sympathy for the Devil, even if the choice of the

Nazis
for its plot was a bit cliched.
I haven’t read the comics yet, although seeing their premises, some of them seem a bit camp.
You can add Babylon 5 to the list. The road home was great, but I doubt they can pull off another animated movie like it anytime soon and it’s still unclear if there will be a reboot of the show in the future.
I think they rethought the animated alternate universe idea. The live-action reboot is coming, just give it time.
