But Rick Berman being a sexist piece of shit denied us a full seven seasons of Jadzia Dax, and that is inexcusable. No amount of 17 year old me appreciating women boobily boobing across my Star Trek will redeem that sin. And middle aged me gets nothing out of catsuits but would have thoroughly enjoyed having Terry Ferrell around for season 7 of DS9.

Agreed and I’ll bring it up a notch. Jadzia reminds me a lot of my aunt, who died when I was 14 when she was in her mid 40s (she had heart trouble at the end of her life). Having Jadzia die on screen is like salt in that wound.
