Can someone ELI5 this for me? I have a jellyfin docker stack set up through dockstarter and managed through portainer. I also own a domain that uses cloudflare to access my Jellyfin server. Since everything is set up through docker, the containers volumes are globally set to only have access to my media storage. Assuming that my setup is insecure, wouldn’t that just mean that “hackers” would only be able to stream free media from my server?

Ukraine is losing less men in their counter offensive than when they were defending the front, are receiving more weaponry and ammunition than ever before, and have been training on western military hardware for months that is soon to hit the battlefield. Sure the winter is going to slow Ukrainian advance, but this isn’t the 1940’s. Artillery, air support, and mortars can all reach further than ever before with near pinpoint accuracy.

If Ukraine is ever going to take Crimea back from Russia, the destruction of this bridge is critical. There are certainly going to be more and more headlines like this in the future. The next steps for Ukraine are to cut off resupply lines to Crimea in the north through Mariupol/Melitopol and to destroy the Kerch bridge in the south. After that they will be able to lay siege on the occupying forces garrisoned on the Crimean peninsula to whittle down their supplies prior to crossing at Perekop.
I’m just curious to see what Taiwanese people would think if the inverse becomes the reality. Taiwan is able to usurp the mainland Chinese government or fend off a CCP invasion. Would they want to take back the Chinese mainland and reunify it with Taiwan under a democracy or maintain independence?
