IIRC he acquired the nickname during the filming of First Contact because of his efficiency behind the camera. Granted he’d likely built up most of that report when he directed a few episodes of TNG

Just playing off on that whole cast being a bunch of goofballs on set.

I did not know he directed that episode.

Since you can see their breath at night, it was probably late in the year.
