Never you mind the super long arms as he’s falling.
Just like the bunker basement scene in Tremors, one flaw keeps them both from being 100% perfect.
This could be the same for chief O’Brien and the fascist commander he plays in stargate atlantis
I loved his Star Trek reference in his first episode. In case others are wondering,
He is the leader of a human looking alien race.
He is explaining his people’s histories and said something like,
“We were once part of a galactic federation of planets.” He then paused and looked at the camera for a second.
For those who have not watched it, Stargate is a fantastic series.
Watch them in order.
The Movie
Stargate Sg-1 (the first three or four episodes are kind rough, but stick with it it picks up super quicker and then every episode is fantastic.) Seasons 9 and 10 were just OK and you can stop at season 8 as the show was originally planned to end there.
Stargate Atlantis is also great. I thought I would be a bad spinoff, but it has been just as good and the cast of characters is really great.
I have not watched the others yet as I’m near the end of Atlantis still.
They have tons of references to Trek and show a clear respect towards it. You will also see tons of Trek actors making cameo appearances.
I felt a different quote was the more fitting reference there: https://discuss.tchncs.de/post/58822602
Also, I don’t know if the Genii are fascist. We don’tlearn a lot about them beyond being a military dictatorship posing as farmers.
I disliked but appreciated Jellico as a character, and spent the back half of SG1 waiting for John Crichton to leave Kinsey on the caveman world with no antihistamines.
the acting was good- it takes skill to make people hate a character that much, after all.
But Jellico can get stuffed in the buffer.
I will not abide Edward Jellico slander.
the circle of liiiiiffffeeeee!
