Most house infestations of cockroaches are German cockroaches.

The native American cockroach prefers to live outside or in naturally damp areas like basements and around pipes. They also don’t smell nearly as bad.

I don’t really know what this information is good for or has to do with this but I took the time to type this comment for some reason.

Consequences can be a motherfucker sometimes

Some ICE attorneys “are only waiting until their student loans are forgiven, and then they’re leaving,” he said.

Imagine working for the gestapo for loan forgiveness. Banality of evil

Wait. I thought all those student loan forgiveness programs had been torpedoed by Trump.

Or are they waiting for some super-wonderful forgiveness for ICE employees only that Trump plans to bribe them with? I hate to break it to them but if they’re waiting for this then Trump will very likely rescind it the moment you tender your resignations.

Most spoke on the condition of anonymity, for fear of losing their job or being subjected to a polygraph exam.

Why? Why is holding on to this job important if everything about it sucks? Management, moral, targets, inhumane methods, feeling forced to hide your identity, being dispiced by the public, etc. etc. Noting positive mentioned in the article. Why not quit? You’re not the pope, it’s not a job for life!

They’re perfectly capable of doing their job in a humane and legal way, they’re choosing not to do so. Would they get fired? Maybe, but that’s when you have grounds for a lawsuit or a story to sell the press.
