Grew up watching TNG and Voyager but haven’t really watched since. Subbed here thinking I’d get a funny every now and then. Half my feed is now Star Trek memes. No regrets.

60 teraflops is still pretty fast. But I can only assume 60teraflops/s is an acceleration of operational speed which would be crazy impressive.
I agree. BUT, if you allow “teraflop” as a noun, then adding an s makes it plural, and it can still be accurate to say 60 teraflops a second to mean simply (the original definition of) 60 teraflops.

I’ve only ever watched The Original Series but I enjoy the memes regardless. Also I am not a boomer just had public access to a retro channel while in foster care which resulted in Star Trek, Svengoolie, and Naruto being a highlight.

Possibly never, unless I end up in a situation where I really not some of that type of sci-fi. It’s largely in that awkward area where it just makes me want to reread, watch, or play other stuff I like more. I keep rereading my Ciaphus Cain novels when I read Yojou Senki for example.
