I’m currently using Memmy and it’s giving me Apollo vibes but I’m open to testing out other apps ^^

Yeah I’m not about to switch to the fediverse and not use fully open source apps. I install almost nothing from the Google play store. There’s no need to use Google play services to make a lemmy app.
Liftoff is open source. You can grab an APK right from GitHub for build it yourself.
