I’ve been a PC gamer for 3 decades. Most budget conscious PC gamers I know upgrade individual components as needed. Done this way, you can easily get more for your money than having to buy a new console every cycle.

I always report. However, I heard that the report only goes to the admin of your instance. Maybe future releases will support cross instance reporting and the ability for admins to “trust” bans by admins from other instances.

Bots are already proliferating the fediverse. Kbin is constantly spammed with “buy online drugs here” links. Transparent bots (those that are tagged as bots) try to boost engagement by reposting things from Reddit, but are still perpetuating one of the worst aspects of reddit even if they’re being upfront about it. AI generated articles posted on obvious junk websites are constantly being spammed by the same accounts.

It’s a difficult problem to solve.

This is my main takeaway from this situation. Seems like the casino knew it was getting a deal too good to be true and CF went straight to strong arm tactics instead of inviting the other side to the table to discuss the issue and find a way forward that’s good for both parties.

Fucking corpo talk. No they didn’t shutter the studios, they just fired everyone who makes up the studio.

There are too many breakout indie hits developed by one person or a small team that prove this isn’t true across the industry.

AAA development may be that way because there are higher expectations, just like blockbuster movies invest heavily in special effects and A-list celebs. But at the end of the day gamers just want to be entertained.

Alien hand syndrome makes me believe this. Usually occurs when something traumatic happens to the brain. The way it’s described seems like the dominant consciousness losing control of that motor function to the lesser consciousness.

What a wonderful rabbit hole to go down. My takeaways are it could possibly be used for knitting, but traditional spool knitting that the Grandma uses in the video doesn’t show up in history until the 1500s.
