It works well, has little to no vendor lock in, and has reasonable or no licensing costs.
Also drivers can be developed without needing anyones permission or validation like with Windows drivers.

Those services are bullshit, there is no reason whatsoever for the other side to cooperate. All you are doing is giving another company the data yourself.
Best case they lie and say they did remove it.

Honestly, if the people in charge of 2 now were responsible for it all along it would be just as dog shit as 3. Payday 2 used to be fantastic, but I wouldn’t bother anymore.
I wish I could still play it as it used to be.

Cat8 is pointless with gigabit equipment as far as speed goes. Cat6 will do 10gig, you just had bad cables.

So far. Given another chance I doubt it would be better.

World of tanks and it’s less terrible version but ugly mobile version blitz. The company actively despises it’s playerbase, and I want to play a game like it but they all give up and copy them.
Armoured warfare was fun until they turned it into a clone with co-op. War thunder is more realistic and that’s cool but mostly just annoying.
I just want more tank games that are fun to play and not microtransaction driven.
Wow that is way more of a neckbeard take. There is no way in hell starfield is going to beat totk. It’s going to be janky shit, but outside of specific communities nobody cares about starfield in comparison.
Remote access is the one pain point. There is very little for RMM or remote software that works on wayland. KDE has that in the works already.
Everybody says Rustdesk but it is a bad joke regardless of wayland.
Personally I host a simplehelp server(paid) and it’s really good but wayland support is a no go so far.
Everything else has been categorically better and fixed a lot of issues for me that I used to have on X11 which I’ve used for like 15 years.
X11+Gnome until gnome 3 then KDE for me because I’m not using a damn tablet (or workspaces).
