Fedora is the perfect balance of stable and up-to-date, so that’s what I’m using on my desktop. I’ve got Arch on another laptop too because it’s so easy to use; it has my favorite package manager and basically every program in existence in the AUR.

They might just go Masto-style migration and just but a banner on your profile linking to your new account, and give you a list of communities to import.

I agree. If they can’t take the time to write anything in the sidebar or have a community image, I lose interest pretty quickly.
