I’d love if this had end to end encryption so I could host it on my VPS. Is this on the roadmap?

Probably not exactly what you are looking for (and not maintained anymore) but this app allows you to set up your subscriptions (like phone plan, internet, streaming services, etc.) and it reminds you once the subscription is about to be renewed. You could set different time intervals for your different tasks.

Is there an easy way to add tags (language and interests) to servers? I excepted one instance to come up with a certain combination, but there were none at all

Paperless-GPT looks promising:
paperless-gpt seamlessly pairs with paperless-ngx to generate AI-powered document titles and tags, saving you hours of manual sorting.
Always wondered why this isn’t built in, since paperless-ngx already has some nice AI features. When uploading a bulk of scanned documents, it’s always a hassle to name them all something meaningful.
What VR Headset are you using? I own a quest 2 and heard that it’s not that well working with Linux wirelessly

Well written! I’ve had a similar experience with a habit tracking app. I’ve once stopped using it and after getting back to it after a year or so, it was so much worse with so many new pay walled limitations. An open source habit tracker on the other hand stayed the same for years and was even improved further. If you’re inrerested: Loop Habit Tracker https://f-droid.org/packages/org.isoron.uhabits/

It allows using reddit with my VPN (Mullvad) turned on. I don’t know why reddit offers such a workaround, but it works for me

Life Hack: Replace the ‘www’ part from the URL with ‘sh’. For example: replace
www.reddit.com/post1/...
with
sh.reddit.com/post1/...
It should be easy to write a script that replaces these URLs. This allows using reddit with my VPN (Mullvad) turned on. I don’t know why reddit offers such a workaround, but it works for me.
Thanks, I’ll take a look at these
Oh right, I think I stumbled upon this issue as well. Have you checked if you’ve received any E-Mail? I didn’t know the account got suspended until I checked my mails
When I cleaning up my instagram account I wanted to delete all bookmarks. There was no button for “delete all”, so I also looked for a script. Then my account got suspended for like 2 weeks because its against their TOS to give such tools access to my account…
Well I used to use it when I was still using normal Android. When I open Vanadium I get greeted with the last page I visited and I get distracted from that, so a search widget helps me.
Today I learned that Vanadium has a search widget, so thanks for the post :D
Unfortunately I’m experiencing the same thing :( Not too big of a deal for me to do manual updates once every two weeks or so but still an annoyance

Creating memes…
ok thanks for the reply. I understand that this would take very much work but I wouldn’t be comfortable hosting something with potentially very sensitive data on a remote server where the admins could see the files. Unfortunately hosting on my Raspberry Pi at home isn’t possible because of this error when starting the docker containers (which seems to be a Raspberry issue).
What is the difference between your encryption at rest and disk/file system encryption? Would the use case be that someone stealing the server couldn’t access the files?
