0·2 years agoThis is why I own most of star trek on dvd. Cant take that away from me.
I was so disappointed when the HD remasters stopped. I snapped up TOS, Animated, TNG, and all the movies on Blu-ray (replacing DVDs in the case of the movies and TNG) despite them being available on Netflix at the time. I was really looking forward to catching up with DS9 and Voyager the same way since I was only able to catch them sporadically when they were airing… but no, it seems these are doomed to remain in SD purgatory.

102·2 years agoWe just watched that one last night after a week and a half of dealing with heavy shit that still isn’t done yet. Not really the episode I would have chosen to dip the toes back in after trauma, but that’s what was up next. Still a great ep.
It’s conspiracies all the way down, man.

Can’t we just agree that we’re all sci-fi nerds?
If only it were that easy.

I don’t know Klingon at all lol. I just searched on “Klingon words that begin with D” and landed here after much SEO nonsense. The page is obviously non-exhaustive and I just went with something with two syllables. DarSeq works perfectly and I’m-a edit that title right about now. Thanks!

14·2 years agoThank you for the belly laugh, it was sorely needed.
I’m no Alexander hater, but I do believe that his early appearances could have been done with a mannequin and voiceover to the same level of effectiveness. (Possibly his later appearances too, but it’s been 15+ years since I last watched those episodes.)

5·2 years ago11 rikers is a bit intimidating, though.
I have an idea, whether it gets implemented or not is a whole other story. That’s a lot of layers, and 25 years of corporate IT has me loathe to sit in front of a computer any more than I have to. Add executive dysfunction and seasonal depression into the mix and I’m much more likely just to upvote everyone else’s stuff lol.

And if you remove the beard, you get my brother in law. Who is admittedly not as famous as Lincoln, but I’m more interested in creeping out my sister in law.
