2·3 months agoI switched from my AMD RX6750 to a RTX3070 Ti this year(since i got the Nvidia nearly for free). There are still issues with Nvidia(for example in Game Mode, HDR etc.) but its really usable. AMD on the other Hand is Plug and Play without thinkering in my experience

I stopped using every messenger besides signal and Matrix. Even my not tech savy parents are using signal now - its in my opinion the better solution to stand your ground and may push others into using the better apps
Did you tried DivestOS? Its my favorite Rom for the op6
OnePlus 6 and 6T had really broad custom Rom support, it is till now one of the best Phones for linux(pmOS) With some Roms you can even relock the bootloader
My banking App works fine on GrapheneOS. At all i didnt really had any app so far which isnt working on GOS with sandboxed Google Services

1·2 years agoI allways symlink(ln -s) some folders from my HDD(Pictures, Movies, Documents, Music) since i dont want to have all my home folder on my slow HDD. May this is an Option for you.

3·2 years agoFew years ago(maybe 10) it was still recommended or even necessary to use IE for a lot of goverment Internet Services here in Germany. The online Zoll handling for example. I think a lot of goverments are not really into accesibility optimization.
For Browser there are actually two YouTube Frontends: piped and invidious


On my work PC i have windows 11 which is a mess and keeps getting worse. I installed a Debian VM on it to have at least some freedom and pleasant PC experience.
