Tailwind sounds cooler than CSS, which, I presume, would be important when you’re applying at a startup.

Games@sh.itjust.works•Civilization 7 has officially gone gold - we're ready to hit shelves on February 11.English
5·1 year agoAfter thinking about it for weeks I think I’ve finally settled on buying it, assuming day 1 performance is good. No preorders. I’m not installing that denuvo garbage on my pc though so at least civ 7 has finally made me switch to Linux last weekend.

1·1 year agoEndless legend is undoubtedly a great game but I never liked the hero thing they have going on unfortunately.

2·1 year agoI’ve played humankind quite a bit actually. I had fun for a while but although I liked the idea at first I don’t love the leader switching system as it is implemented in humankind.

25·1 year agoSometimes I wonder why companies make decisions like this. But then I remember just how many completely braindead executives are out there.
At least it’s not denuvo anti cheat but their anti tamper is bad enough. Civ 6 is my most played game and I guess I’ll have more time to play it now after all… It’s really too bad I was very excited to try out the new features they’ve added.

Patient Gamers@sh.itjust.works•The entire Dragon Age series is only $10 on steam until June 27th.
11·2 years agoI played through the third recently, yes there are a few mods. The game isn’t very mod friendly so there’s not a ton there but I found like a dozen or so that were worth installing on nexus.
Game still kinda sucks but good enough for one play through if you liked the first (two)
Ads etched into glasses. Maybe tiny screens if that’s possible.
- Star Trek Strange new worlds
- Oblivion
- Hunger games
- upside down
- the adjustment bureau
- Contact
- A quiet place (horror but not that bad, rated pg12)
- Ready player one
- Love and monsters
- pitch black (might be rated 16 or r)
- Cloverfield (horror but fairly tame, rated pg12)
- Looper(2012)
Not sure about the horror movie ratings, I think they’re rated 12 but I think they should be fine. Maybe watch them by yourself first and judge. Star Trek is a TV show but really amazing and peak sci-fi. The new movies are watchable, too. Doctor who is a great sci-fi show too but it’s a bit weird on where you should start watching, the first doctor’s (of nuwho, so 9, I believe) series are a bit tough to watch at times so I’d recommend skipping them at first and coming back to them later.

Games@sh.itjust.works•EA confirms The Sims 5 will be free-to-play and co-exist alongside The Sims 4English
2·2 years agoFor me for a game like Sims I need a big variety of cosmetics to keep me playing, new game mechanics are kind of secondary.(Although, if I trust any company to recognize that and adjust accordingly it’d be paradox) But still, you are completely right, paradox doesn’t abandon players that don’t buy the dlc but release content patches at the same time. Plus if you happen to play with other people only one person needs to own the dlc, which is one of my favourite things paradox does and more companies should do.
Also, I completely forgot about mod support. That makes a huge difference, too.

111·2 years agoThankfully paradox are making a contender. Although paradox overdoes kt with dlc, too, but they’re not a scummy company like ea so it should be better. Plus they’re trying to take marketsharr from es so doing the exact same thing would be counterproductive.
Also paraloves might not be too far out either.
Coincidentally the Yogscast is currently collaborating with the longest johns to record doggy doggy hole with their community choir. I.e. anyone can record themselves singing the song and they stitch it together in the end to make the full song. Really cool project, they’ve already done this a couple of times and the results are great. https://youtu.be/RQ2HbYnlc3s?si=DQ3PJVfgJ34pwdFE

Ha, yeah, but the module’s name contains the American word ‘harmony’, which was first used…in 14th century England…and originates from the french word Harmonie. Damnit.
