As others have answered your main question, I’ll just point out that on Firefox you can search through your open tabs by adding before your search. I imagine the other browsers have a similar feature.

I upvoted this, but actually I hardly ever see this style of commenting. Maybe it’s because I never got very far into corporate coding.
I’m really confused by this - is this a bot reposting replies that don’t work because the context has changed or is this some super-meta content that I’m whooshing on.
It’s long running, so you want a database so you can store your state. If you’re storing state, locking it into a state machine makes sense.
I do agree with some of the commenters that making it closer to an event source design would make more sense still.
