FL Studio works fine in Linux if u install it thru Wine
BSPWM user here: Desktops are 1-10 Super + Enter: Terminal on desktop 1 Super + F: Firefox on Desktop 2 Super + D: File manager on Desktop 3 (D for data) Super + Space: Rofi dmenu Super + Shift + Space: Rofi Run
Discord and Telegram (or any other messengers for that matter) are always Desktop 10 so they aren’t in the way of anything.
And any other desktop is whatever I need to use in that regard, sorted thematically amd depending on task

i dual boot bc of the adobe software i use for work and wine/proton doesn’t work with the shit ton of skyrim mods I play with. straight up crashes.
i usually import all Windows fonts and some nerdfonts for terminal

you are a god send

Yeah I did, used genuine Windows 10 and 11 images before I tried modded ones

every other linux distro I tried (Fedora, Manjaro, Linux Mint) worked fine in live usb, didn’t install any of them though

yeah maybe

that’s the thing, I BSOD right before the setup

I’ve tried on zen and lts, I don’t have the stock kernel
Windows does support VirtIO if you load the drivers at setup. QXL doesn’t help either, also tried VGA, same problem.

It positioned the screen to the bottom right edge of my tv but the left and top was still cut off. I wanted to see what kind of transformations u applied and checked the xrandr wiki, and found my solution in the end:
xrandr --output HDMI-2 --set underscan on --set "underscan vborder" 25 --set "underscan hborder" 40
But thanks for your help anyways!

I hope to be able to do that with xorg bc my graphics card probably has problems with Wayland

BSPWM and Polybar because I am too lazy to figure out eww and I use KDE as a backup in case anything breaks lol
I mostly use Startpage and Waterfox as browser. I know system1 was bought by an advertising company which on itself is a bit spooky, but they haven’t done anything that would be a concern for my data.
Startpage uses google as a serach engine but anonymizes your search query and u don’t see these paid google ads in your searches. pretty neat.
Waterfox is modified Firefox but without the Mozilla shit. I wanted a good balance between usability and privacy and other Firefox based browsers like LibreWolf were just such a drag for everyday use. I can still sync my Mozilla account for bookmarks and stuff which is neat but for other than sync functions and updates Wterfox doesn’t phone home

i enjoy the lack of ads and the community, if smaller, seems more welcoming in the subre… instances? I’ve visited so far. but everything seems a bit laggy and it’s cumbersome to get into. but so far definitely worth the hassle!
what a new one? is there a release date yet? is it another guy spoils the governments plan with throwing books against laptops? is it twisted pair 2? it’s a magical day the sequel? i can’t believe she commited suicide? can’t wait to torture my friends with his newest creation!
have you tried gambling? you might really enjoy that one
