I can confirm M.2 to PCIe adapters work for booting Windows. Had both my Linux drive and Windows drive each in a separate one when I used to dual boot. Then I would swap out which adapter was in the computer to switch OS.
I haven’t plugged the Windows one in in a loooong time, but wanted to mention the option since it would do what you want.
I’m all for this. Game exclusivity prevents many from enjoying them.
Starlink is all in LEO. It doesn’t become space junk as there is sufficient drag in LEO that they readily deorbit purely due to air resistance (yes, there is enough air in LEO to make air resistance the factor in why Starlink does not become space junk).
I would put it in the top area right after “Pull Requests”. It currently isn’t in the main navigation area and is very often under the page fold, making it hard to find unless you already know where it is.
Edit: On a standard 1080p screen, the Releases section for this repo isn’t even visible without scrolling…

I believe you simply downloaded the file to ~/.local/bin/yt-dlp, you did not install it. You need to either add that location to your path or you need to cd to that folder in terminal, then run the command. It will check things in the current folder when trying to run executables.
Visual Studio and VS Code have an AI assistant as well, yet we don’t decree all programs written with them as ‘vibe coding’. The presence of an AI assistant in the IDE isn’t evidence of vibe coding.

Really wish Intel would get their chips up to snuff, simply because we really don’t want to just swap from one monopoly to another.
“Gaming Distro” just means some various gaming softwares are preinstalled, like Steam and Heroic (for GOG, Amazon, and Epic games). I mention this just to keep you from overly worrying about picking the “wrong” distro.
Bazzite is basically SteamOS.
Mint Cinnamon was my choice as it feels very familiar to a Windows user, and comes with a bunch of desktop productivity stuff pre-installed. It tends to remain on more time-tested, stable versions of software.
Fedora Plasma is also very popular, and will feel familiar coming from Windows. It tends to have the latest and greatest version of softwares.

If you plan to switch over all at once, during the install, tell Linux to use the entire drive (ie, do a full format). That will completely remove Windows during the install.
If you are going to dual boot, you can format the Windows drive at some later time.

If you are going to dual boot, don’t dual boot on a single drive. Windows likes to fuck with other things on the same drive as it, including other Windows installs.
If you get a prompt about codecs during the Linux install, install them.

A virtual machine is generally your best choice. You build a little box around it and tell it to have fun inside that box.
It doesn’t work well for games (you can do it with games, but it’s generally not worth it), but for smaller programs, it is a very reliable choice with minimal performance impact.
Well, that is fair. Those anti-cheats are in user-land on not-windows. Don’t think I have given admin permissions to any game, including those with Easy Anti-Cheat, etc.
I’m still surprised Microsoft allows those to exist. Particularly for something as mundane as games.
Option 1: When you go to their website for the flathub link, it takes you to a download for a .flatpakref file. Dowload that and run it. It will open the Software Manager to the gopher64 entry. If it isn’t opening with the software manager for some reason, tell it to open .flatpakref files with the Software Manager.
Option 2: Search for gopher64 in the Software Manager.
