DigitalOcean joins as a Founding Corporate Patron with $3 million
DigitalOcean is joining the Omacom Foundation as a Founding Corporate Patron, contributing $1 million a year for three years! That’s a $3 million commitment to the development, maintenance, and spread of Omarchy. What an incredible vote of confidence in the beautiful, fun & agentic OS we’re building.
Even politics aside, I don’t understand why all these companies are donating to Omarchy. It doesn’t actually offer anything worth thinking about… which makes me think it’s about the politics.
It’s in the blurb. Pretty sure when he says “agentic OS”, he wants it to be the default OS for consumer AI crap. All you have to do these days is just hint at AI and companies will fall over themselves to throw money at you.
DO have been chugging the AI koolaid for a long while now, so this tracks.
It has to be some sort of money laundering scheme
