I am not speculating here: In June, Postmaster General David Steiner confirmed to Congress that under the rule, which was still being drafted at the time, the Postal Service would not deliver ballots in states that refuse to hand over their voter rolls to the Trump administration—a move that, if the rule were to take effect, would effectively disenfranchise tens of millions of people for the crime of living in a state Trump does not like. Sure enough, last Friday, the Postal Service released a proposal that does exactly as Steiner promised.

    Also, why the fuck didn’t the Biden administration deal with the fucked up board that manages postal leadership? The national party has all the heat for progressive Democrats trying to displace incumbent dinosaurs but regularly fumbles the ball on important shit.

    …because the only way things could have collapsed this badly was if a truly incompetent and illsuited status quo managing sunsetting old man who had a hand in creating all of the problems that are coming home to roost now was president right after and before a fascist was put in power.

    I am not sure there is really any other way to let the fire get so damn out of control before the fire alarm was pulled.
