Just going to settle in with this alt for now. Whatever, that’s the nice part of federation. Pity though, I had to thank somebody for a nice compliment and I can’t find it now.

I’ve never used matrix, but if it’s hosted in the same place wouldn’t it be down as well?

The old frontend looks to be up, but as the backend API is down it doesn’t work. That indicates the servers are still there, even if Lemmy isn’t up.
