Praying is akin to meditation but has no real affect on the world around you, you would be much better trying to do something yourself or asking for help from those around you.
god actually DOES answer your prayers, it just seems like he doesn’t because you’ve never prayed the right way. you’ve never done the dance that goes along with it, and until you master the steps, god isn’t doing shit for you

I used to be tolerant of religion, used to defend religion on Reddit (Was even banned sitewide for it)
But after much soul searching, I realized that I was too open minded on the existence of magic and souls.
No one should believe anything that isn’t true, and since God isn’t real, believing in him can only do harm.
