I imagine they have done everything they can to ensure the unredacted files no longer exist, just in case of something like this happening. After all, it’s not like this regime takes any notice of laws.
That can be surprisingly difficult in a government environment with so much chaos. Especially when your best IT guy is bigballz69 or whatever.
Either it’s really going to happen or he’s trying to pressure them into making it happen. At this point it’s anyone’s guess.
