They aren’t as cool, sure, but they’re still covered in chromatophores (and cuttlefish also have ink, so the point still stands anyway).
I just couldn’t find a gif of one using them, so I got one of a cuttlefish. 🤷♂️
Interesting. But did you know human beings have a sack and something called a pen-is. Perhaps given sufficient research it could be used for the same purpose. Food for thought.
Maybe to write secret letters like with lemon juice and a candle, but this time with an UV lamp instead.
