Stegosaurus died out long before the K-T extinction event. They weren’t even good enough to survive to that point.

Do people ever actually think of the Jurassic period though, or do they just live in a society where Jurassic Park and Jurassic World have made that period’s name synonymous with dinosaurs?

Not fair to the dinosaurs. The dinosaurs got hit by a meteor, humans are destroying themselves.

Many humans would absolutely survive an event like the K-T extinction, between technology and eating bugs and fungi. Many more would die though

Bruh, reading through this thread, I’m low-key having an existential crisis thinking about the timeline where that extinction event didn’t happen. No humans, no tech, no video games.

    Dinosaurs rule forever?

What if my soul got incarnated as a dinosaur, what is it like?

    Just chillin’?

    Idk

Yo dog. I know it’s 鬼月. This time of year, everyone in Taiwan thinks about their mortality.

My suggestion is to think about what you want to accomplish if you don’t have to think about survival.

Its coo coo crazy how much people here believes it here. This morning I saw a row of businesses, about 8 store fronts, was outside praying and burning “spirit money”. Employees are forced to pray as well.

That’s nuts, that’s like one of those examples that’s either “ppl coming together in a sense of community and bonding” or “being trapped in forced servitude to the societal expectations around you.” Depends on the person experiencing it what it feels like ig. I never understood the forcing ppl to pray, like “you know that’s not how that works, right?” Performative time wasters 😂
