This should have been the premise of inside out. A kid learning how the world is, having to figure it into their inner sense of the world, and finding out doing so aged and matured them. Doing so well got them respect, but every now and then there’d be fall back, unresolvable problems, and things that upset them and they needed comfort from.
That’s a good premise but at this point it sounds like a completely different movie.
