We’ve seen this many times before. Public panic over the solvency of a bank leads to a run, therefore fulfilling the prophecy. This isn’t a problem without a solution. Unfortunately, I have little faith that our government will actually do anything to prevent this fall off the cliff.

Claiming early is painful. I’m going to 67 if I can manage it. This is going to drive our seniors further down the hole, which will cost the government more.
