A veteran is still part of the working class (for the most part, I’m sure there are exceptions) so to me, if any of the working class can manage to live without working, be it through SNAP or disability or unemployment or Veterans Benefits, more power to them!
Better my tax dollars to a “system gaming” vet than lining the pocket of some rich fuck
I’d rather less money be spent period on the military and spent instead on every person. I’d probably have more sympathy if a majority of these vets didn’t support the right and make those same exact boomer statements you mention about everybody else while actively stealing from taxpayers themselves. They’re mostly class traitors fyi.
