So kind of like Drunk History but with muppet dialogue instead of slurred speech?

    If so, I’m sold.

Watch it? Hell, I’d crowdfund it if it wasn’t for the fact that Muppets are a Disney property. The House of the Mouse has more than enough cash to make this work.

FWIW, this format would work with a bunch of awkward teens at the game table.

You could also go the other way and re-release “Honor among Thieves” by constantly cutting away to the game table with hilarious die-rolls and the rest. Think: “Of Dice and Men”, or “Dorkness Rising”.

It’d be a great skit, but the gag would get old pretty quick for anything full-length.

It’d get old by the end of the skit.

You might enjoy HarmonQuest! Bonus fun fact: the DM was originally just an audience member when Dan Harmon came up with the idea and asked for a DM, but is now a regular cast member.

Harmonquest ended 6 years ago. He isn’t a cast member. He was Dan’s assistant on Rickn Morty for a while

Jack black is obnoxious but he really did nail the high school girl impression.

        I hate Jack Black’s acting.

I completely agree with your opinion.

It also works in Tropic Thunder.

I personally loved his Bowser in Super Mario.

            Bowser!

I knew there were three roles I didn’t mind but couldn’t remember the third, that’s the one.

On the flip side, I didn’t like Nacho Libre for the opposite reason, he felt too reserved.

Sounds like Drunk History which I’ve always said would be better if it used muppets.

If you’re okay with them not being muppets, check out Dorkness Rising. Once they start playing, about 15 minutes in, the action bounces back between the players and the characters. It’s old but still works.
