both complied with the six-month deferred prosecution agreements they agreed to

Their deferred prosecution agreements required that they each perform 100 hours of community service and cooperate with a federal inquiry arising from Epstein’s death.

They did what the court required of them and kept their noses clean in the meantime. This is normal stuff. Been there done that. Judge says, “I’m deferring this case and you must do XYZ and you better not fuck up again.” Do what you’re told and walk.

BUT, I feel like prosecutors should have hit harder at the git go. < conspiracy talk goes here, and this talk is legit for once >

This particular account hasn’t posted a single comment. I’d believe they were some kind of news posting bot (which can be fine) that didn’t do well here.

Guessing more just a human that didn’t do well here, though.

To rephrase what I think he was asking: at best they failed to do their incredibly important job. At worst, they committed first degree murder as part of a criminal conspiracy. Unfortunately, due to their actions, we don’t know what happened.

So, why is it that they are not sitting in jail for the minimum sentence on manslaughter, or at least sitting in jail til they cooperate enough to tell what actually happened.

If they don’t know anything(somehow), they still fucked up an incredibly important job. Manslaughter sentence.

If they do know, make them a deal for cooperation or sentence them to first degree murder. Potential death penalty.

I believe the person you’re replying to was joking (or not joking) that this is clearly part of covering up the murder.
