What does “tubular” mean in this context? I’ve only ever heard it as a positive adjective in Surfer slang.

Surfers want the most tube-like waves to surf through, hence tubular being a great positive.
Fantastic game! Played it on gamepass and recently bought it on Steam so I can play on PC with a PS5 controller for better haptics (and also play on Steam Deck). Highly recommended!
If someone asked me how to get into fighting games I’d give them Hi-Fi rush first. A perfect presentation of how not to mash.
