    There also was a live action movie , released around 2008 or '09, not sure, which I found quite enjoyable. Don’t remember if it was actually any good though.

      I ended up watching this yesterday, their heart was definitely in the right place but it does need the big budget treatment to work as a live action IMO, and a longer format
