So I figured out why VSCodium wasn’t working, and it was because one of my firewalls hadn’t allowed VSCodium through yet, but now I allowed it on my firewall, and it works now.

I left reddit a few months ago, and still check the site from time to time for things like movie site recommendations, music recs, etc. It still feels the same to me.
Like the general “we”?
He’s made a “joke” about motherhood not being a hard job. I’ve known single mothers and it’s a pretty damn hard job.
Thanks for triggering me.
Left wingers/Lemmyites.
N-no? You’re supposed to take the kindness and compassion you show yourself and apply it to others :/
I classify anything that helps your mood as self care lol. Drinking tea would be self care. Flossing helps your teeth stay healthy so I figured it counts.
I think you’re right that the anger is misguided. I also think it stems from trauma, but that’s just me. It’s like the old saying “hurt people hurt people” and right-wingers are a bunch of repressed, hurt people.
Honestly, I’ve been trying hard to practice self-care, so I believe in loving and being kind to yourself. Im also very left leaning, close to socialist/anarchist ideals/beliefs.
I used to hang out on toefur, a straight edge forum (I was straight edge for the majority of my life, not anymore though) It wasn’t a bad site to be on, but it had its moments. I learned the phrase fuckdammit there.
I’ve thought about being compassionate with these people, but the moment you get called a jewish slur or the n word, all compassion kinda goes out the window.
Not a troll, but ok
Redditor for redditor
I didn’t wait long enough before posting in a subreddit.

He’s not an anarchist, per se, but Noam Chomsky is always good to read. I heard Neal Stephenson’s book The Diamond Age is about anarchy? As well as Kim Stanley Robinson’s book Red Planet. Sadly, those are the only two I am aware of!
The long term is what I’m slightly concerned about.
Yes, that’s makes sense. When I get really happy or excited I’ll stim. When I drank the cordyceps tea, it was similar to being high, but my body and mind were calmer. Same effect with Tulsi tea. I know Tulsi tea has linalool in it. which is also in Marijuana. When I drink Tulsi or Cordyceps tea, it feels like my vision and brain are in a bubble, or I’m looking through a fishy eye lens if that makes sense. What I’m hoping, is that adaptogens just block certain receptors and aren’t really changing the brain at all.
I was gonna suggest Mastodon, or maybe Movim? I know there are non-fediverse websites, like Plurk but that might not be what you’re looking for.
