ive been using ublue’s ucore server for about a year without any real complaints. Fedora coreos would also work fine as a base if you wanted to not use ublue’s opinionated ucore.

you could also checkout bootc-image-builder and make your own, on your own hardware so you’re not relying on github.

i mean, you can just redeploy the container with the updated variable. thats kinda how they work.

hell yeah! i moved my whole setup from docker to podman with systemd with quadlets. auto updates and everything. so smooth.

proton drive is the biggest bummer from proton themselves. though their calendar might acually be worse - like where the fuck can i use this shit? however, rclone does kinda work with drive if you’re willing to get it setup.
