Lenin’s point in What Is To Be Done? was that there is no middle ground between revolutionary socialism and liberalism! Any de-emphasis of Marxist theory strengthens bourgeois ideology by default. What makes this dangerous is that the party, functionally, absorbs the energy of dedicated, loyal people who want to be revolutionaries and channels it into work that never actually threatens power, abandoning the necessary and patient work of developing leadership prepared to support the working class in times of crisis.

The fascist ghouls are on the list too, but only in the event their behavior exceeds acceptable bounds, which are wide, or they need a convenient sacrifice, or both.

I had to edit the post you answered here, for accuracy. Cloudflare on kbin.earth isn’t having it, for anything. I checked the box to prove I’m human a dozen times, with .js and cookies enabled, and the whole shebang just noped. 😋
So I tried this in *Privacy Browser, mojeek search engine, with and without .js. Thing is, most websites are designed not to work, without it. I could use some help with settings, if anyone is inclined.
Also, that made my fingerprint much more unique. It almost seems worse.
3·1 month agoThat’s what I was wondering because I thought rice is necessarily water intensive, so enough to maintain even a small population (assuming water requirements are true) in space has me boggled. I can’t wait to learn more!

Which makes me wonder, do AES have mandatory time off for mental health policies in place and/or other mechanisms to safeguard against tragedies like this?
