They didn’t have Hot n Ready at Little Caesars when the N64 was out. That started around the beginning of the Wii era

25·16 days agoThis has big XKCD Energy. It almost feels like an exact recreation of the comic but with tech:

I don’t know if the polar vortex would go that far south so commonly in the past though. Climate change has made it wobble like crazy I’m recent years. It’s why we end up with warmer days in Finland now with no snow when it moves that way.
Of course; he’s the other kind of plant. Mycelium is neither.
Wouldn’t it makes more sense to take it then once you’re already blind? Then there’s less risk of blindness technically

2·3 months agoYup.
Maybe still repairable because it at least can give an image? But it’s some pins on the card

2·3 months agoSolved
It’s the GPU hardware that was the problem 😭. This post can be closed.
Credit to Clearwater who figured out the real issue early on.

1·3 months agoWhat was the reason? I remember Pop looks pretty nice.
I’ve had issues when I used to use Mint (from mucking around with dependencies and such granted, and python environments) but I’m short on time so I’ll probably try it next. KDE usually looks nicer and controls peripheries better (like screen brightness).

13·3 months agoFrom my experience Bazzite is the easiest to use system for gaming on Linux, but I can’t install it.
I tested Garuda, but even the Mokka edition I know my friend won’t like the aesthetic of, and although it works, for some reason on my monitor it only shows 720p resolution - I don’t know why. It even makes the bios go into 720p when it’s otherwise fine. But that could be because I have a 2k monitor.
I was going to gift them the PC tomorrow since they leave the country for December, so also running out of time. Willing to try other gaming focused systems too that are very beginner friendly (so no arch recommendations I think - and ideally something immutable)

Thanks for everyone’s help. Figured out I didn’t need the second Switch, just needed a router that had at least 2 LAN connections.
Thanks everyone. I tried ZimaOS (since apparently that’s what CasaOS is now?) but had issues figuring out the -arr services.
Currently trying YunoHost now, though for some reason it says my GMKtec G9 has a MMC/Micro SD?

I got a 3090 card and have her 0 issues so far. Wouldn’t even consider another OS for gaming at the moment with how well everything works.
Even my monitor works better with Bazzite than with Windows 11.

4·4 months agoBut is it necessary? I’d rather focus more on the tdp.
I know I could just boost the tdp of the n150 if I did want more power, but I see people here running stuff on 10 year old laptops and older Intel n series stuff seemingly without a problem.

1·5 months agoI read somewhere on here that you need a full HomeAssistantOS for Matter/Thread support along with support for a few other things btw. Can’t find anything looking it up myself about what exactly they meant - is that true?
I’m sorry, I didn’t realize I forgot to specify that some were Nintendo Switches, the console
I’m finding it a little hard to follow your description sorry, but couldn’t you do something like: Outside Internet -> Modem -> Router -> network switch -> devices?
No, because the desktop is in another room, unfortunately, and wife doesn’t like the idea of running a long lan cable.

Same since I can’t see tags 😂
