I was going to say /r/ExperiencedDevs, but it looks like they made an official instance at programming.dev. So that’s pretty great.

I’m new to the whole fediverse thing, but - if you’ve got an interest in a specific, uh… Sub? Fed? Community? Why not create one yourself?
Because then I have to moderate it :/
Well when a community is small, there’s pretty much no moderation involved most of the time. I started a few subs on reddit, I never had much to do when the subscriber count was below the hundreds.
Once it gets sufficiently large, there will be people willing to mod.
Weird ones like the ones about the letter wars, eg r/theLetterH
And generally communities about movies and tv shows, eg dedicated series subreddits
/r/talesfromtechsupport /r/maliciouscompliance and /r/prorevenge always give me a chuckle.
I’m hoping that some of the writing and image sharing subreddits make their way on here. Specifically: r/AbandonedPorn/, r/AccidentalRenaissance/, r/ImaginarySliceOfLife/, and r/LetsNotMeet/
I will really miss the imaginary network (slice of life, garden, interiors, etc).
The whole imaginary network is gorgeous. I wonder if we could convince them to work here as well.
