Bluff Lake Nature Center, a nonprofit, is now facing a nearly $15,000 dollar yearly fee after Denver's new sidewalk fee went into effect — more than a lot of other property owners are required to pay.
This sounds like people (as a whole state unfortunately) don’t want to pay more taxes for sidewalk maintenance and stuff like snow clearing. So they need to get taxes elsewhere. The non-profit would still be paying more, another way, to cover the costs regardless.
Or feel free to be responsible and pay for cleaning and replacing it, as well as all lawsuits yourself, which should be an option somehow, usually in an easement.
