An “unauthorized party” may have accessed the names of users, the last four digits of credit card numbers, and more.

      Having seen the internal workings of a few of these random services, not very safe at all.

      It’s not just shoddy work, or a lax security policy. There is real money to be made by being unethical, and there is nothing to stop many website owners from just selling the data. It’s not like there are consequences to selling it.

      I have a feeling this happens a lot

    There you go. So many people will give a fingerprint or photo ID to get what they want. Not worth it.

      Yeah that didnt even take two months. In any reasonable world this would cause the whole world to immediately shut down any and all ID verfication systems like this.
