Scott Bakula is a good actor but he sold the adventurous naivete of S1-2 Archer much better than the moody and distraught Archer in S3. Thankfully season 4 went back to the original spirit.
S4 when he fights Shran with such confidence and gamesmanship, that’s my favorite Archer.
