The Windows Update cache is undeletable after installing the Windows 11 24H2 update. Microsoft is aware and working on a fix.

    i only have a 512gb ssd so this is a big wrong…if i used windows, i use tux!

      Too bad I can’t force my business to go to Linux. I would love if all our labs were just Nix OS config files or something like that.

    The patch will remove the cache and all the files Windows don’t need.

    Today at work I have noticed that on one user’s computer there were 22 GB of some Windows Update files remaining in C:\WINDOWS\CSC that don’t show up in Disk Cleanup tool. That’s typical Windows bullshit.
