    Can’t remember if its was 22 short or long but mythbusters did an episode on dieing to using 22 as a stand in for a glass fuse. Completely plauseable

      A .22lr fits in some 3AG fuse holders. They do produce an audible alert when they blow. I’m not sure what the current rating is though.

          3AG is just the physical size of the fuse, they usually go up to 20 amps from memory.
