This is precisely why, as a principle, never believe whatever someone says, but what they do in real world, and what the end result is.

On CBC News Network last night they had on a spokesperson for the IDF and he was asked very pointedly “what assurances do we have that you are minimizing collateral damage as we are aware of plenty of civilians that are being wrongly targeted by these attacks”
The response was a very blunt (and paraphrasing again) “we have made an executive decision and you need to understand that these civilian deaths have been accepted as the result of this military campaign.”
So officially from the IDF is that they are ok killing civilians.
There’s a way you can minimize civilian harm and you’re not going to like it.
(pulling of all funding, application of sanctions and boycotts on all their companies)
And if you want to speed up the process, you can deliver your munitions to them in a different way.
