Unity has temporarily closed its offices in San Francisco and Austin, Texas and canceled a town hall meeting after receiving death threats. The company made the call as a precaution against possible retribution after it announced a contentious change to its business model this week.

    I get the Internet is the internet but I can’t help but feel like this is pure bullshit just so a scumy company can avoid minor consequences for their actions

      I would not be surprised at all if it’s true. There’s being mad at a company being shitty, but there’s always people who take it too far.

    Apparently the report is that there was exactly one death threat and it came from an internal employee.
