I wonder if Navy ships have non color based indicators for easier color blind damage control.
Do colorblind ppl get into US military?
My grandfather was partially colorblind and in the navy. I don’t know if they’ve changed their standards in the past 80 years though.
According to my quick GPT4 search, yes they can. There are some roles they won’t allow us color deficient folks to hold, but generally speaking it’s not a blocker.
